It's no secret that scientists love data. Knowing that, we've compiled a list of some of the many notable numbers from last year's AGU Fall Meeting.


39,972: Tweets sent using the Fall Meeting hashtag #AGU16 from 1 December 2016 through 1 January 2017.

30,425: Dollars raised during 11–16 December 2016 from a total of 395 individual gifts.

22,000+: Scientific attendees registered for the meeting and scientific abstracts submitted (more than 22,700).
